Certified Production Technician (CPT) Hybrid Solution:
The CPT online learning units use a lot of bandwidth because of media-rich content with videos, animations, and simulations. If the company training site has sufficient bandwidth to support multiple users, then a pure Internet solution can be used. If not, MSSC offers two types of hybrid solutions (see CPT Pre-Qualification Checklist below for full descriptions of Type 1 and Type 2 Hybrid Solutions). There is a one-time setup fee of $1000 to install the computer-based training locally. After the first year, a $400 annual fee is required for system maintenance and updates.
Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Opus Works Portal:
The CLT Portal is a customized virtual portal for your company which provides trainees access to CLA and CLT courses. The portal also includes PDF copies of both textbooks; PowerPoint presentations for each chapter; a virtual classroom for Instructors to post messages to and share documents with trainees; pre- and post-tests; and instructor reports on trainee performance. Instructors can create and organize their own content and distribute it trainees. The portal also provides access to the OpusWorks® library which includes other courses available for purchase such as SixSigma, Lean, Statistical Process Control, Project Management, Juran Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis and ISO 9001. There is a one-time fee of $250 to establish a company training portal.
